Working it out

I'm not really sure where I'm going with the quilting on this one. It's been partially quilted out of indecision and hesitation for many years now.

Now that I've settled on something for the sashing - of which there seems to be miles, I won't worry about the rest, I'll just stitch. The rest will work itself out along the way - I'm sure of it this time.

  1. what a pretty pic & such nice hand quilting. I agree that it is just relaxing to do the stitching, and not think about the rest.

  2. Sometimes letting the quilt tell you how she would like to be quilted is so restful. I enjoy the simple rhythm of quilting with no real plan.

  3. I wish I knew what you both said earlier - don't worry about planning, just go with the flow of the quilting - I've never read that in a quilt book! Thankyou both:)

  4. You're so cool! I do not suppose I have read through something like that before. So nice to find another person with a few original thoughts on this subject. Really.. many thanks for starting this up. This site is something that is needed on the web, someone with a little originality!
